Will your Green Card photo pass?

Entries with a photo that breaks the rules are disqualified. We check yours against the State Department template in a few seconds and fit it to 600×600.

  • We are an independent service, not the State Department. DV entries are filed only at dvprogram.state.gov; the only official charge is the $1 fee paid there.
  • No sign-up; photos are deleted automatically
  • Money back if the official site rejects our photo

Checking and your first ready photo are free. After that, $2.99 per photo or $5.99 for 6.

@get_ready_dv_photo_check_bot
Is this the official DV Lottery website?

No. We're an independent tool that checks photos. The only official place to enter the Diversity Visa program is dvprogram.state.gov. We never submit entries for you.

Why do photos get rejected?

The most common reasons: head too small or too large, eyes outside the allowed band, glasses, shadows, a non-white background, a photo older than 6 months, or reusing last year's photo. A wrong photo can disqualify your entry, even if you are selected.

Is the check really free?

Yes. The check is free and unlimited. The first ready photo is free too — we send it to your email. Next photos cost $2.99, or $5.99 for a family package of up to 6 photos.

Why not just go to a photo studio?

The check is free, and you can check a studio photo too: a common problem is the wrong framing or size for the online DV entry. At home you can take as many shots as you need until one works, and do the whole family at once. For the DV entry you only need a 600×600 digital file to upload on dvprogram.state.gov — no prints needed (for a visa there's also a print sheet). If the official website doesn't accept a photo you bought from us, we'll refund you.

What happens to my photo?

It's processed on our server (a reduced copy is also checked by our AI provider) and automatically deleted within 24 hours — or within 14 days if you got the corrected photo (free by email or paid), so you can download it again. We don't use photos for training.

Does a passed check guarantee acceptance?

No tool can guarantee it — the final decision is made by the Department of State. We check every measurable requirement against the official template; please also review the manual checklist.

Can I use the same photo for a U.S. visa?

The U.S. visa (DS-160) photo has the same composition rules. Choose "U.S. visa" above: it allows sizes from 600×600 to 1200×1200 px.
